Up and away. There is no other direction. As you go through life you understand how important it is to be able to float with the wind and make your life up as you go along the current. I can’t count the many times I have tried to anchor myself at a certain point of my life in search of that desired stability that seems to avoid us all but the wind keeps blowing and it is certainly stronger and it is positively unavoidable. What has to happen will happen and it won’t wait for you to be ready. Sometimes you wish you could see it coming. That new storm that will destroy every bit of assurance that you have, and sometimes you do see it and that is when you realize that control is something more of an illusion, it’s a hoax. We have to stop trying to control the events that unfold in front of our eyes and we have to start learning from them. There is a message in every action. It is poetry. It is art. It can be crude but it hides within it the magic of the creation of the stars and the planet and the universe itself. It was the wind. Up and away.

Hace aproximadamente dos años me enamore de la mujer mas hermosa del mundo y poco después ella también se enamoro de mi. Desde entonces nuestro amor ha crecido y tomado dimensiones tanto sorprendentes como emocionantes. Como músico, siempre escribo y compongo sobre lo que siento, y no hay en mi un sentimiento mas grande o mas hermoso que este que siento por ella. Claro que he escrito muchas canciones haciendo honor a su belleza, a su labor en mi, y a nuestro sentimiento mutuo, pero hoy le he dedicado una canción a nuestra historia. Breves momentos que son tan cortos pero al mismo tiempo para mi corazón, resultan inmortales, y en mi memoria no tienen fin. Les traigo entonces esta canción que nace de un amor que me tomo por sorpresa pero que hoy llena toda mi vida y me da motivos para escribir sobre las cosas buenas y hermosas de la vida.

If you have been following The Blog lately then you probably have heard my two new songs that are available for streaming. Both of them are scheduled to be released on April with pre-orders a week from their release dates. What you don’t know, what I am here to tell you, is what is coming after that and it is what I am very excited about. A brand new album to be released during the last quarter of 2012. The album’s specific release date has not yet been set but what I can tell you is that it will have 10 brand new songs which will include the two singles that will be released this April, Momento and Sombra De Ayer.

I also want to announce the 3rd single for this album that is going to be available for streaming in the up coming days and which will be released on May 3rd 2012. Stay tuned to learn more about this new single.
